Happy Spring/Summer 2022! What a year (so far), and some of us are ready to start working out this season (despite that, Hot Girl Summer is coming or here)! Are you stuck deciding if you should workout during the morning or evening?  Rest assured, you’ll have all the information here on this page!

It can be challenging to work out in the morning, but it can be rewarding at the same time. According to the article “13 Benefits of Working Out in the Morning,” there are several reasons to schedule and maintain time to exercise very early in the day; therefore, it’s better to switch that cup of morning coffee for a bottle of water in order to maintain your body’s needed strength and energy. According to an article titled “3 Reasons Why Working out at Night Will Help You Tone Up Faster,” you can workout increasing muscle strengths, and with “higher intensity” to exercise after 6 pm. Let’s take a look at the list to determine why, between morning or night, one might be better than the other.

Why Are Morning Workouts Better?

1)  Helps to release stress throughout the day

– According to Active SG, starting your day by exercising will help you avoid any mental issues and keep your hormones “afloat.” There is nothing wrong with feeling yourself at the beginning of the week and having the feeling of accomplishing your goals for the day.

2)  No issues sleeping at night

– Exercising in the morning will help you sleep better in the evening; therefore, a longer sleep equals a more extended rest. In addition, it will help release stress hormones from nervousness, heart rates, high blood pressure, aka adrenaline, from your day.

3)  Prevent or Decrease Illness

– Working out early in the morning will help start your day by moving around and being active. People with diabetes or high blood pressure and those who are overweight that exercise daily, could burn fat and lower their chances of being sicker or gaining a disease. It will apply to your daily lifestyle to be fit and healthy. Without health, you can’t have wealth, okay?!

4)  Mentally and Physically Healthy

– Working out daily will put your mind and body in a good mood. It will help you be a quick thinker, a good planner, and strategize things in your daily life (believe it). This will start your day in a positive way. But physically, it will help your body have a certain type of “glow.” According to Active SG, working out near the sunlight and the heat will bring out your skin’s radiance and make it healthier.

What Are The Reasons To Work Out At Night?

1)   Fewer Distractions

– After a long day of work or any daily errands, you can have peace away from your partner, kids, or family at night before heading to bed.

2)   No Need to Wait

– If you have sessions at a local gym in the morning and it’s always packed, you can reschedule them for later at night. Also, the fewer people at the facility, the more weights, machines, and other equipment will be available!

3)  Removing Terrible Habits at Night

– According to an article from CNET, the more you work out, the less time you spend “snacking, drinking, smoking or watching too much TV.” You will forget your old routine and start focusing on a healthy lifestyle!

If you ever feel like giving up, that’s ok! You can always start again to reach your fitness goals. Just like the article “Goodbye 2020, and Hello to 2021”! Continue to set goals to challenge yourself and focus on success in your life this year. It doesn’t matter if you exercise in the morning or at night; your body will appreciate you. At the end of the day, your health will give you wealth!
