Power Morphicon was held in Pasadena, California, from August 23 to August 25, 2024, just 11 miles away from Los Angeles and 36 miles from Santa Clarita, where the heart of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ sets was born.
Haim Saban started the Power Rangers franchise over 30 years ago. Saban’s leadership and his business partner and franchise producer, Shuki Levy, made it possible to show a fun, nostalgic kids’ show for millennials that six teenagers with attitude can save the world while being typical high school students.
Every other two years, Power Morphicon holds an event to showcase each seasons with Power Rangers actors and actresses in attendance. Fans can meet their favorite Rangers and attend several panels to discuss the franchise. This year, the leading actors, actresses, and producers of Legend of the White Dragon were also at the event.
Power Rangers and Legend of the White Dragon Rumors
The Legend of the White Dragon movie stars the late Jason David Frank, his daughter Jenna Frank, Power Rangers Alumni Jason Faunt, Cerina Vincent, Ciara Hana, and Bring it On actress Rachel Brooke Smith. And did I mention King Bach is part of it, too? Rumor has it that the movie’s release date will be until 2025.
More rumors indicate that the Power Rangers franchise could be ending by 2026. With the changes under Hasbro, the company that owns the franchise has no plans for upcoming television shows or toys.
